About Debra

Debra Troy is a registered, certified and insured Advanced Clinical Hypnosis Counselor with over 26 years of experience working closely to guide her clients into positive habits, thinking and emotional responses to empower a creative and dynamic life. She is also a Certified Kalos Kinesiology Health Facilitator.

Debra offers private Clinical Hypnotherapy sessions with specialties in medical hypnosis, smoking, weight management, preparation for surgery and pain control, anxiety and phobia relief, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, allergy elimination and more.

She is specially certified through the HypnoBirthing Institute to offer Fertiltiy Hypnosis sessions and HypnoBirthing®, The Mongan Method childbirth education classes. She is a certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator and a HypnoBirthing® Fertility Counselor.

In addition, Debra is a nationally board certified Reflexologist through the American Reflexology Certification Board and is the creator of Reflexology Therapeutics™, holistic reflexology for body, mind and "sole" , which incorporates east/west reflexology styles with relaxation hypnosis and energy clearing techniques.

Debra is also the creator of StressLess Seminars – "Quick fix body/mind tools that can save your day." This seminar is a great 2 or 3 hour "hands on seminar" that is perfect for an ice breaker or a connector for a club, women's group, or holistic or business fair.

 

She is a co-founder of the Peaceweavers, www.peaceweavers.com which is a non profit organization, intentional community and retreat center in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. As such, she offers "Talking Stick Circles" every season in her New Hope, Pa. home and is available to facilitate a talking stick circle for your yoga or healing center, or an honoring circle for a special birthday or other occasion in your home.

In 1983, Debra became an Ordained Interfaith Minister of Spiritual Counseling from The New Seminary and has been offering Spiritual Counseling and Ceremonial Services to the public since her ordination.

Her Life Passage Ceremonial Services include weddings, civil union ceremonies, baby blessings, house blessings, memorials, honoring circles for special occasions and spiritual counseling. Debra is also a singer/songwriter and has written and sung many songs for weddings and other special events.

All ceremonies are handcrafted and personalized to resonate with your values and spiritual beliefs and are especially appropriate for the non-affiliated, for interfaith couples and families and for those who would enjoy having a more creatively constructed spiritual ceremony. Debra is also available to write and sing a specially created song that will be a beautiful memory for your special event.
